The 20^th International Conference on Methods and Applications of Fluorescence (MAF 2026) will be held from 9-12 August 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, bringing together the global fluorescence community to discuss the latest advances in fluorescence methodologies, applications, and materials.

The meeting also includes specialised workshops and satellite events, with early-bird registration available until 1 May 2026. 

The Swiss Drosophila Meeting 2026 will take place on 29 June 2026 at the University of Geneva, bringing together Switzerland’s research community to share the latest discoveries in genetics, developmental biology, neuroscience, and other fields using Drosophila melanogaster. The event features keynote talks, poster sessions, and networking opportunities, giving scientists at all career stages a chance to exchange ideas, present their work, and connect with peers and experts in this dynamic field.

The Gordon Research Conference on Single Molecule Approaches to Biology will take place from 28 June to 3 July 2026 in Les Diablerets, Switzerland, bringing together leading researchers to discuss the latest advances in single-molecule technologies and their applications across biology. Covering topics from advanced imaging and spectroscopy to bio-nanotechnology and computational approaches, the meeting offers a highly interdisciplinary forum for exploring how single-molecule methods are transforming our understanding of biological systems; applications are open until 31 May 2026.

The conference will take place at the University of Zürich, Main Campus, from Monday, September 7^th to Friday, September 11^th 2026.

The IUPS Beacon Symposium 2026, themed “Physiology Ahead: Orchestration of Multiple Systems,” will take place on 15-16 September 2026 at the Okazaki Conference Center in Okazaki, Japan. Registration and abstract submission are now open until 15 June 2026, with travel grants available for early-career researchers.

The 3^rd edition of the International Conference on Molecular Biology: Current Aspects and Prospects (ICMB2026) will take place on 21-24 September 2026 at Wonderland Resort in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, bringing together researchers, early-career scientists, and students for a dynamic scientific and networking program.
Centered on “Molecular regulation across the domains of life: from DNA to proteins – mechanisms, networks, and applications,” the conference will feature keynote lectures from Éva Kondorosi, Nikolaus Rajewsky, and Andrei Lupas, alongside research presentations and discussions.

The competition emphasizes authentic research visuals (microscopy images, structural data, or molecular simulations) rather than artistic illustrations. The winning image will be featured on the journal cover, with a €500 prize awarded, and selected entries will be highlighted in a dedicated article.
