Proteomic Forum – EuPA 2026
The Proteomic Forum – EuPA 2026 invites researchers, clinicians, industry professionals, and early‑career scientists to Würzburg, Germany, from November 29 to December 3, 2026. Hosted by the European Proteomics Association (EuPA) and the German Society for Proteomics, this flagship conference brings together thought leaders and innovators to explore the latest breakthroughs in proteomics research and technology.
This annual congress is designed to showcase cutting‑edge science through a rich program of eight plenary lectures and seventeen specialized symposia covering diverse themes such as clinical proteomics, AI in proteomics, systems biology, drug discovery, immunoproteomics, and single‑cell approaches.
Submit your abstract and join in!
Early bird registration deadline: July 15, 2026. Registration possible until September 15, 2026.
LS2 Proteomics members are affiliated with EuPA. The European Proteomics Association (EuPA) is the federation of European national proteomics societies. The main objectives are to strengthen and promote fundamental research and applications, as well as education and training in all areas of proteomics throughout Europe.
A very useful calendar for the Proteomics community!
You can contribute to the official newsletter of the European Proteomics Association. Send in information about “who is who in proteomics” (research groups, scientists); new books, papers and databases; announcements of meetings, courses, thesis, and job offers. Also brief notes on key methodological or biological issues, complementary approaches, recent relevant literature are very appreciated.
The Swiss Proteomics Meeting 2026 took place from 23 to 24 April 2026 at the Holiday Inn Bern Westside, bringing together researchers exploring the frontiers of proteomics, genomics, and systems biology.
This year’s keynotes featured two outstanding scientists:
Anne-Ruxandra Carvunis (ETH Zurich, Institute of Molecular Systems Biology): A leader in genome evolution and de novo gene birth, combining computational and experimental biology to uncover how new genes emerge and integrate into cellular networks.
Jesper V. Olsen (University of Copenhagen, Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research): A pioneer in mass-spectrometry-based proteomics, developing next-generation phosphoproteomics and single-cell workflows to chart cellular signalling and protein dynamics.
The meeting featured cutting-edge talks, flash talk sessions, a workshop and vibrant discussions spanning quantitative proteomics, multi-omics integration, structural and chemical proteomics, and more.

Our Symposium at LS2 Annual Meeting 2026 will be chaired by Paolo Nanni (FGCZ, University/ETH Zurich) and Loïc Dayon (Nestlé Research, Lausanne): “Proteomics in the Era of Multi-Omics”
Speakers:
Rudolf Aebersold (ETH Zurich): "On the dependency of cellular states on the adaptable modular proteome"
Jana Seifert (University of Hohenheim, DE): "Using metaproteomics for livestock microbiome research"
Register by 11.01.2026.
The Meeting will take place on 11 & 12 February 2026 at Campus Irchel of the University of Zurich.
We want to thank everyone for joining!
