Become a Chair at the LS2 Annual Meeting 2027!
We are looking for motivated early-career researchers to shape two flagship events at the LS2 Annual Meeting 2027 (09-11 February, University of Lausanne): the PIs of Tomorrow (PIOT) session and the Young Scientists’ Satellite (YSS).
As a Chair, you will:
- design and lead a high-profile session;
- work closely with the LS2 Office;
- gain hands-on experience in scientific leadership, evaluation processes, and moderation.
Both roles offer outstanding networking opportunities, increased visibility within the Swiss life sciences community, and a strong addition to your CV. If you are a PhD student and wish to apply for our travel grant in the future, you will get bonus points for volunteering!
Applications are open to researchers based in Switzerland. You may apply individually or as a small (3-4 people) team (leave a comment in the application form). Your registration, travel, and accommodation costs for the Annual Meeting will be fully covered. More info on the role are in the attached documents.
